For our plant in Manor, TX we are looking for a 

Quality Auditor

 

Quality Auditor Essential Functions/Duties:

 

  • As the main quality representative on the production floor this person will collect measuremnt data, validate gages/ equipment, and perform product and process audits and other duties necessary.
  • Daily inspections, measurements and data collection as per inspection sheets.
  • Daily audits as per checklists.
  • Reaction to potential out-of-specification/ incorrect / out-of-control items by notifying Supervisors, Quality Engineer, and Quality Manager.
  • Reaction to potential out-of-specification / incorrect / out-of-control items by placing them on hold, is possible to move them to quarantine.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Identify and document supplier component issues for communication to the supplier.
  • Participate in Continual improvement activities.
  • Ensuring compliance to and participate in IATF 16949 and CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance & ISO 14001 certification
  • Under the guidelines of the Ministry of Labour, has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matter requiring immediate repair.
  • Participating in creating a safety oriented work environment.
  • Ensure conformance to all company and legislative policies and procedure and Rules of Conduct.
  • Customer Quality Performance
  • Ensure quality of incoming material to plant meets requirements
  • Ensure quality of outgoing FEM from Plant meets Customer expectations
  • KPI-Internal Quality Performance
  • Root cause analysis & corrective action activities
  • Participate in PPAP & PSO activities
  • Use or wear PPE as required
  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for Safety related matters requiring immediate repair
  • Has the ability to stop production, upon notifying the Supervisor and Plant Manager for quality-related nonconforming matters requiring immediate repair
  • Other Duties as assigned

Required Experience/Skills:

-    Tier 1 knowledge an asset
-    3+ years working experience in a Quality Capacity
-    Good organizational skills
-    Strong communication – verbal and written
-    Strong problem-solving skills (analysis, cause identification and confirmation, collective action, resolution)
-    IATF16949/CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) ISO 14001

-    Blue Print and GDT reading
-    Handles Gage use: Micrometers, Calipers
-    Basic computer knowledge
-    CMM operation and asset
-    Datamyte knowledge an asset
