Summary of Job Duties:

This position is responsible for coordinating the University’s schedule of classes and supporting college scheduling liaisons to provide an accurate and timely academic course schedule in Banner and Workday. Utilizing Mazevo, this position will also coordinate the scheduling of non-academic events in academic classrooms, and work to ensure that the inventory of both academic and non-academic spaces are up-to-date. This position also serves as the NCAA compliance liaison with Athletics ensuring that student athletes are reviewed and certified as eligible to compete. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.


Qualifications:

Required Education and/or Experience: 

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of specialized training in business management, business education, or a related field;

  • Three years of experience in specialized or a related field applicable to work performed;

  • Meticulous attention to detail is required for this position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the maintenance and provision of components of the university’s course schedule and provides oversight for all university academic and non-academic scheduling of classroom assets;

  • Monitor preemptive reporting/auditing for missing schedule components entered by academic schedulers to ensure the accuracy of schedules with fidelity to attributes for billing, curriculum tracking, and enrollment;

  • Ensure the accuracy of the university’s course schedule as it directly intersects curriculum legislation at the graduate and undergraduate levels;

  • Oversee university scheduling in BANNER and assists with transition to Work Day scheduling;

  • Maintain E-Update Email Account (manual course adjustment requests requested by department(s) after schedule input has closed);

  • Train academic college schedulers and provides strategic guidance on maximizing classroom space assets in schedule modalities;

  • Serve as NCAA compliance liaison with Athletics by preparing NCAA
