This person will be able to provide client and commercial teams with strategic and financial support on client-related and new business initiatives. Is always up-to-date on client revenue and resourcing changes and potential impacts to the overall health of the business. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can manage a wide variety of responsibilities, from providing critical insights into client accounts to ensuring our internal operations run smoothly. You'll partner with stakeholders across the business and act as a true business partner, enabling management to make sound decisions and helping teams operate at their best.<em><br/><br/></em></p> <p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <p><strong>Revenue recognition and Invoicing<br/></strong></p> <ul> <li>Reviewing the monthly balance sheet reconciliation of WIP from Financial Control and working with Manager, Client Finance to chase missing PO’s, check and follow-up on overrun/underrun, overspend/underspend, margin on out of pocket costs, missing allocations and closure of projects.</li> <li>Following up on missing PO’s, pending orderlines, closed underrun budgets and missing allocations with lead PM’s.</li> <li>Raising all invoices to clients.</li> <li>Check and approval of cross-sell invoices for intercompany transactions.</li> <li>Supporting Manager, Client Finance in ensuring data accuracy across revenue trackers.</li> <li>Assist on forecasting and monthly reporting, helping project managers track their numbers and reviewing with leadership.</li> <li>Review &amp; approve supplier invoices, media expenses and other client expenses.</li> <li>Manage and track time entries, enforcing processes and checking on the “hygiene” of our internal admin systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Project Profitability</strong></p> <ul> <li>Review actual booked hours vs budgeted hours and challenge overrun.</li> <li>Support Manager, Client Finance with project KPI tracking</li> </ul> <p><strong>Credit Control</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Manager, Client Finance on the debtors list and oversee the chasing of outstanding invoices with clients</li> <li>Support Manager, Client Finance with weekly updates on debtors list movements to Global Head of Accounts Receivable and Credit Control</li> </ul> <p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support Manager, Client Finance in all aspects of the day to day invoicing operations of the business.</li> <li>Serve as the initial point of contact for project managers for support in project setup/hygiene. </li> </ul> <p><strong>WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR</strong></p> <ul> <li>At least 2+ years of experience in business control, FP&amp;A, Client Finance, Operations Excellence.</li> <li>Experience working in a service-oriented or professional services business.</li> <li>A university degree in Finance, Business Control, Accounting, Business would be considered a plus.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various teams.</li> <li>The willingness to take initiative and work independently, leading projects from start to finish.</li> <li>Tech-savvy with excellent skills in Excel and Google Suite.</li> <li>Experience with financial systems, particularly for budgeting and forecasting, is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with Power BI or big data models is advantageous.</li> <li>Happy to work to tight deadlines and travel nationally and internationally as needed.</li> <li>A strong interest in the practical applications of AI in a business context, with a proactive approach to embedding new technologies in your daily work</li> <li>Experience using generative AI or other smart tools in a professional or personal capacity to increase productivity and solve problems is a plus. <br/><br/></li> </ul> <p><strong>WE OFFER</strong></p> <ul> <li>A flexible, hybrid working policy (2-3 days from the office, depending on location) and the opportunity to work from abroad for 13 weeks a year.</li> <li>24 vacation days per year and the possibility to buy an unlimited number of extra vacation days.</li> <li>DEPT®/YOU Learning Menu and DEPT®/YOU Special Programs.
