Job Summary
A General Physician (MD/DO) provides primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. GP is often the first point of contact for patients seeking medical care, and plays a crucial role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of illnesses and health conditions. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of various medical disciplines and the ability to address diverse patient needs.

- Patient Consultation - Conduct thorough medical consultations. Perform physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary for accurate diagnosis.
- Diagnosis and Treatment - Analyze medical test results and make informed diagnoses.
- Preventive Care - Promote preventive healthcare measures, including vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications.
- Chronic Disease Management - Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
- Emergency Care - Provide immediate care for acute medical conditions and emergencies.
- Record Keeping - Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records for each patient encounter.
- Collaboration and Referrals - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and allied health staff.
- Continuing Education - Complete state medical licensing dept. mandatory continuing medical education training as required.
- Community Outreach - Participate in company sponsored community outreach events.

Required Education
- Medical Doctor degree from an accredited institution.
Required Experience
- 4 plus years' experience in primary care.
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Licensure as a General Medicine Physician (MD/DO).
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment.
- The work schedule may include evenings and weekends to accommodate patient needs.
