About the role

Position Summary:

Team Lead—Energetic lead for assembly department—we build both video game controllers and gaming pc’s in our Duluth location.  This position is responsible for pc/computer assembly.

Must have previous experience leading people in an assembly environment. Great work-life balance, working Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with occasional overtime.

Must possess a professional attitude, be results-oriented, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will understand the assembly process of our products from start to finish and will drive her/his team to meet customer quality and delivery requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive team to meet daily quality and productivity goals.
  • Oversee the overall assembly processes and adjust workload to ensure orders are processed on a timely manner.
  • Communicates with team members regarding daily challenges and opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactively identifies issues and puts countermeasures in place to mitigate them including filling in for direct reports and trouble shoot systems as needed.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the inventory in the area.
  • Manage team members performance and accountability.
  • Responsible for maintaining a properly trained team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Maintain a safe, neat, clean and organized environment.
  • Performs ancillary duties as needed to support the department’s processes.
  • Monitor and report scrap and address issues contributing to out of ordinary trends.
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ experience leading a team of manufacturing/assembly/production personnel
  • Prefer background of technical knowledge and additional specialized training in assembly and leadership
  • Must work effectively with others
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to motivate employees
  • Able to plan and organize daily activities, analyze data, and react to changes and challenges
  • Computer skills, including Excel

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
