Apply now for the position of External Manufacturing Supply Planner for our team reporting to the Director of Global Supply Planning. The ideal candidate will have strong planning experience and excellent analytical skills. We are looking for a strong leader with the drive to succeed in a complex matrix organization that can improve on all aspects of driving the right product to the right place at the right time.
Your role:
- Act as the key point of contact within Supply Planning Function with respect to specific challenges within the Reagent and Consumable product lines.
- Align and communicate demand plans and supply disruption avoidance with relevant stakeholders across the organization.
- Resolve disruptions in Supply continuity, escalate as needed to Senior Management for support and report on results
- Utilize Demand Planning Software and SAP to establish replenishment plans and supply scenarios in a make-to- stock planning environment
- Manage the distribution center replenishment plan for your products formulating the appropriate safety stock levels at each based on past demand variability
- Update monthly inventory projections at each distribution center and monthly excess and obsolete (scrap) projections at same
- Prepare monthly analysis to support the integrated Business Planning process.
- Lead projects focusing on the continuous improvement and/or alignment of Planning processes
- Use root cause and corrective action to drive external manufacturing supply improvement.
- Develop and maintain standard reports to provide an accurate representation of material status and other related information required for effective business management. Provide regular status reports to all stakeholders.
- Support projects and management with requested ad-hoc tasks and perform special projects and other related duties as assigned.
Your expertise:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management, or related degree.
Medical Device or Healthcare Industry and Manufacturing
experience required.
- 5+ years of supply chain planning experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office (including macros, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables), and Power Query.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Strategic strong informal leadership experience and communication, attention to detail, and high-quality work standards.
- Ability to influence decision making
- Experience with SAP, Kinaxis or equivalent ERP systems.
