Who You Are

You’ve been building web applications for a while now and  are comfortable ramping up on an existing product quickly. You’ve mastered at least one frontend framework, and know how to build highly reliable, modular systems that many people can collaborate on at the same time without stepping on each other’s toes.  You have a strong sense for good design, and won’t stop until the user experience is just right.

As a Software Engineer, you will be a part of our Frontend Engineering team, focusing on delivering products and capabilities that power Justworks products. You will leverage your experience working with internal applications and design with performance and security in mind. You will be working primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript and prior experience is preferred.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

You’ll be a part of a team developing frontend web apps for Justworks’ 10+ CSO and Ops teams.

• Build beautiful, custom user experiences (at the same level of fidelity as our customer facing app)
• Stitch together microservices in our Node.js/Fastify Backend For Frontend (BFF) and handle Authorization 
• Migrate legacy tools from a smattering of old sites into one, unified experience
• Build end-to-end workflows for our internal teams replacing piecemeal Google docs/slack/email workarounds unlocking efficiencies and increasing margins
• Leverage AI technologies such as Intelligent Document Processing to ingest huge amounts of unstructured PDF payroll data as companies onboard as well as enhance our existing chatbot to enable CSO to not only look up information but perform actions in a conversational way.
