Raytheon is seeking an experience Fleet Manager to be part of the larger Supply Chain organization.  The fleet manager will support Raytheon’s fleet operations, across multiple sites, and interact with multiple departments and functions.  This individual will have the opportunity to work with other fleet managers to identify opportunities for improvement, develop new processes, lead projects and support change initiatives. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Regularly interface with Raytheon’s asset managers, fleet vendor personnel, internal function employees, and cross RTX business unit leadership.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely input of data into various operating systems.
  • Lead and implement Telematics strategy and leverage data to reduce Raytheon risk and exposure.
  • Right size Raytheon fleet assets through acquisition and disposition which includes title and registration oversight, branding decals, telematics installations, and custom upfit requirements.
  • Partner with OEMs to allocate vehicles in preparation for growth and update to aging fleet.
  • Lead DOT Compliance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Actively monitor and drive strategy for FMCSA requirements to support business operations.
  • Maintain fleet control tower by compiling data and developing industry standard for fleet metrics.
  • Manage driver qualification program and lead strategy to maintain compliance adherent to FMCSA.
  • Manage data and upkeep of asset details, driver manager contact, and cost center details.
  • Oversee fuel purchase cards, fuel compliance, maintenance spend, driver fuel pins and expiring cards. 
  • Partner with Raytheon function leaders and management teams to lead the on-road safety and regulatory program to best-in-class.
  • Field requests from entities in a timely manner, answer questions, or remedy required situations.
  • Maintain Fleet Command Media policy updates and standard work.
  • Coordinate with driver supervisors and fleet leaders to execute strategies to promote and maintain a culture of safety throughout all aspects of on-road transportation operations.
  • Stay abreast of and leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices for Fleet Management.
  • Coordinate the accident investigation and response process thru to post-incident closeout.

Required Experience:

  • Experience managing automotive fleets. 

Additional Desired Experience:

  • CAFM Certifications
  • APICS Certifications

Education:

Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
