Physical Therapist - Valley Stream

Case Details:

📍 Location: Valley Stream, N.Y.
💰 Pay Rate: $100/hour
📆 Schedule: Monday and Thursday 7:30am-8:00am, five small group sessions a week, 30 minute sessions

Patient Needs:

• 3 Students who attend Valley Stream Central High School 
• Physical Therapy
• Two of the students require small group sessions twice per week, one student requires one small group session per week

Qualifications/Education:

• NY State Physical Therapy License required.
• One year of pediatric Occupational Therapy experience in the home setting required.
• 1 year experience working with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:
• Assist patients in redeeming their skills for independent living.
• Implement Specific treatments for the quick advancement of the patient's condition.
• Developing a personalized care plan appropriate for the patient's condition.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand/work for extended periods.
• Additional responsibilities as required.
