We are responsible for finalizing the financial statements for all subsidiaries across North America, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring strict adherence to the required GAAP in each country. This team drives compliance with regulatory guidelines and corporate accounting policies. From managing accurate and timely book closures to overseeing financial audits, GL management, and reconciliations, we maintain and elevate the overall control environment.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What You’ll Be Doing</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Support the Close Process:</strong> Assist the team with month-end and quarter-end U.S. GAAP close processes and related departmental responsibilities.</li> <li><strong>Execute Accounting Tasks:</strong> Participate in the accurate and timely execution of close procedures to ensure highly reliable financial reporting.</li> <li><strong>Collaborate Globally:</strong> Work closely with the broader corporate accounting team, shadowing experts to support a seamless monthly book closure.</li> <li><strong>Learn Risk Assessment:</strong> Help analyze accounts to assess financial risks and learn to apply professional judgment to ensure the integrity of accounting entries, accruals, and reconciliations.</li> <li><strong>Prepare Documentation:</strong> Draft journal entries and assist in maintaining account reconciliations consistent with strict corporate policies.</li> <li><strong>Audit Support:</strong> Assist in preparing and maintaining essential reports and schedules for management, as well as those requested by internal and external auditors.</li> <li><strong>Technical Research:</strong> Support the team in researching complex technical accounting issues, gaining valuable exposure to how a global company documents and communicates its accounting positions.</li> <li><strong>Internal Controls (SOX):</strong> Gain practical, hands-on exposure to the organization's internal control framework (SOX) by assisting in control proce
