Supply Chain Advisor - Supply Chain & Operations - Planning (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1617779), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Atlanta, GA.
Provide expertise in supply chain planning to assist clients achieve a fully optimized value chain through transforming end-to-end planning capabilities. Analyze clients’ supply chain planning capabilities to identify and recommend changes. Support teams to source, coordinate and analyze planning data from clients, and apply analytical methods to advise clients on how to design, develop and deploy planning capabilities of their organization. Conduct current state assessments of the core supply chain planning functions, including demand planning, supply and capacity planning, integrated business planning(IBP), production planning & scheduling and order promising. Architect solutions to improve the health of clients’ supply chain planning function to drive better performance. Drive high-quality work within expected timeframes and on budget. Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business (operations management), Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business (operations management), Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics or related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience in one or more of the specific supply chain areas: demand planning, supply and capacity planning, production planning & scheduling, or order promising.
Must have 3 years of Implementation experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Must have 3 years of implementation experience using one of the following tools/applications:
- SAP IBP
- Kinaxis;
- OMP;
- Blue Yonder; OR
- O9 Solutions.
Must have 4 years of experience using Excel, Macros, and Pivot Tables.
Must have 3 years of experience writing and delivering presentations for executives and senior managers in Power Point.
Must have 2 years of experience in managing staff on projects and providing direction to team members.
Must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:
- training or coaching client employees;
- developing and facilitating meetings and workshops for clients; AND
- supporting sales and business development efforts.
Requires travel up to 80%, of which 20% may be international, to serve client needs.
