Position Overview 

As a Senior Video Producer on the Media Productions team at Autodesk, you will work closely with the team and our clients to ensure proper intake and management of video production projects from ideation through final delivery. 

 

The Media Productions team is seeking a Video Producer with an accomplished background in all aspects of the video production process. This role will partner with many teams across the company to plan, design, and support our on-demand video and live production product experiences. 

 

In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager of Media Productions, based in the greater Bay Area. The team provides technology and media production support that delivers compelling and engaging content to all divisions across the enterprise with the goal of maximizing visibility, engagement and impact.   

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal clients and external partners to help create various production projects and assets

  • Management of pre-production, production and post-production tasks for multimedia (audio/video) projects

  • Staffing a production team using internal and external resources on a per project basis

  • Coordinate with Director of Photography on budgeting and logistics to each video project needs

  • Travel to shoot locations for scouting and developing pre-production assetsAbility to build and manage a project budget and production schedule

  • Comfortable working with vendors to reserve and ship required equipment

  • Assisting with script writing and overall creative direction

  • Comfortable operating camera, lighting, and audio equipment to capture engaging and aesthetically pleasing footage in person and fully remote

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition

  • Proper management of media assets

  • Capture and evaluate analytics to calculate a project's ROI based on predefined success metrics

  • Excellent project management and organization skills

  • Manage project timelines, tracking budget, and ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Direct on-camera talent and crew members during shoots 

  • Advanced expert role, requiring deep subject-matter knowledge and sound business acumen to advise leaders

  • For jobs at this level, knowledge of the business starts to become as important as subject-matter knowledge

  • Incumbents translate specialized subject-matter requirements into business needs/requirements

  • Require depth of specialized expertise to interpret internal/external business issues and recommend best practices to address them

  • Solve complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of variable factors by taking a broad perspective to identify the best approach and innovative solutions

  • Work independently, with close guidance in only the most complex or unusual situations

  • Adapt communication style to persuade various stakeholders across the business and frequently interact with senior leaders to provide advice and SME

  • May lead functional teams or programs within own function (or closely related functions)

 

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with developing web-based video content

  • 5+ years at a digital-first brand or agency 

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Iconik, Kaltura, OpenReel, Singular.live,
