JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective

The primary purpose of the Recruiting Assistant is to provide general administrative support for the Market Recruiter. The Recruiting Assistant will also work with recruiting companies to find the most qualified candidates for open positions and coordinate for the interview and hiring process.

 

Essential Functions

  • Prescreen resumes and send qualified candidates to recruiters
  • Communicate requirements and job description to prospective candidates
  • Set interview times with candidates and market leadership
  • Liaise with candidates throughout the interview process and into the hiring process
  • Maintain file records for the department

    Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

     

    Physical DemandsMust be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement, Must be able to sit for long periods of time

    This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     

    TravelNo travel is required for this position.

     

    Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  •  

    Preferred Education and Experience

  • College degree
  • Minimum one year recruiting experience
  •  

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

  • Reporting skills
  • Scheduling experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Gmail
  •
