Job Description

• Perform appropriate studies/packaging/layouts.
• Prepare basic hand calculations and flag needs for deeper analysis.
• Propose design & program next steps.
• Develop design criteria and typical sections.

Qualifications

• BE/BSE in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or similar.
• Materials specifications & stock part selection knowledge.
• MS Office (Excel, and PowerPoint) is your daily work companion.
• Independent mindset.
• Introduction level CAD modeling (SW, Catia, NX, CREO) with willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Creativity.

Preferred Qualifications

• GD&T knowledge.
• CAD expert.
• Apply 3D GD&T (PMI) to CAD.
• Create 2D drawings.
• Automotive seating or interiors experience.
• Strong experience designing automotive plastics, foam, and stamped structures.
