The Group Protection & Resilience team is committed to ensuring that Allianz Group is able to withstand and recover from disruptions to its business operations. For our team based in the headquarters in Munich, Germany, we are looking for a Leader of the Incident & Crisis Management team, who has a profound background in both domains and with strong experience in IT incident solution management as well as project management skills. How can you make an impact?
The Incident & Crisis Management function is the global owner of the processes to manage oversight, assessment and reporting of all kind of major incidents and the end-to-end response to a crisis situation. The Team Lead will oversee a team of experts, that is creating guidance, designing processes, develops tooling support and manages the global incident oversight as well as crisis organisation.
Main responsibilities are:
- Establish and maintain a governance framework that provides guidance and ensures a globally unified implementation as well as regulatory compliance
- Implement procedures and tooling support that enable the operational run of incident monitoring and reporting as well as global crisis management
- Co-ordinate the governance bodies that oversee globally major incidents and manage a Group-wide crisis with involvement of Board members (Group Hybrid Fusion Center and Group Crisis Unit)
- Intensify collaboration amongst all related stakeholder groups, across Allianz OEs and Allianz Technology/Allianz Services
- Perform systematic monitoring of the maturity of Allianz OEs in their readiness to respond to a major incident/crisis situation and support them in conducting trainings and crisis exercises as well as best-practice sharing across the Allianz Group
- Monitor major incidents and provide cross-functional assessments including expertise of all relevant stakeholders and act as the focal point of incident coordination on Group level, ensuring a globally unified approach and regulatory compliance
- Ensure timely ad-hoc as well as standard reporting to peer functions, stakeholders, management and regulators; collaborate with the 2nd-Line risk function on appropriate integration into the digital risk reporting
- Development and maintenance of tooling support, ensuring full integration into the overarching risk and resilience tool landscape and ensure timely execution of all administrative and IT compliance tasks
- Actively foster the sharing and exchange of information on incident and crisis management within the Group, including conducting awareness activities and trainings
- Embed incident follow up and problem management as well as threat intelligence oversight as early warning indicators for anticipative incident and crisis management
What are you made of?
- 15+ years of operational/consulting experience in the non-financial risk / digital risk, operational resilience and security area
- At least eight years of leadership experience in working/consulting in the domains of Incident and Crisis Management with hands-on experience managing crisis response and incident solutions including interactions with Board members
- Understanding of the business based on practical experience in the core of the financial services operations
- Graduate in Economics, Business, Legal, IT, Risk management or Finance or a comparable education
- Proven experience in coordinating complex projects, solid organizational and planning abilities
- Ability to build strong working relationships in virtual, international and complex team environments
