3rd Shift - Debone - Forklift Operator

Dept. 1383 - Cooler

Shift Time: 10:30 p.m. - EOS

Pay Rate:  $ 16.50

Summary    Performs various, unskilled cooler duties as assigned by Supervisor by performing the following duties.                                                              

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Loads finished product.

 

Unloads trailers.

 

Takes product to the lines and takes finished product from the line.

 

Stages product in cooler area.

Education and/or Experience                                                   

 

No prior experience or training.

 

 

Language Skills                                                

 

Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.  Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

 

 

Mathematical Skills                                                     

 

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

 

 

Reasoning Ability                                             

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.  Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

 

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

 

Must be able to obtain a forklift/powerjack license.
