  • Translate high‑level business problems into data‑driven insights, potential strategies, and actionable solutions.

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, validate data sources, acquire datasets, and organize data into accessible, analysis‑ready formats.

  • Interpret analytical results and present findings as compelling data stories that answer stakeholder questions and support decision‑making at all organizational levels.

  • Identify and resolve complex business challenges through data analytics, statistical modeling, and appropriate methodological approaches.

  • Perform ad hoc analyses of varying complexity, delivering clear, timely, and actionable insights aligned with business objectives.

  • Provide detailed status updates and reporting on project progress, including task-level time allocation and milestones.

  • Coordinate, guide, and mentor analytics work performed by internal staff and external consultants to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Business, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High school diploma or GED required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Effective communicator able to translate and explain technical data and insights to non-technical audience

  • Knowledge of pharmacy benefit structures, drug pricing and claims processing

  • Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC) and medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a PBM, health plan, or payer organization

  • Experienced with transact-SQL (MS SQL or Oracle)

  • Experience with SAS, GCP, Python and/or other data mining tools

  • Experience working with large datasets, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools
