We are seeking a Mission/Quality Assurance Professional to support the Product, Project and Operations teams at Solipsys Corporation in Fulton Maryland.

Solipsys Corporation is an industry leader in the development of integrated Command and Control (C2) Network-Centric solutions for Domestic and International DoD and Homeland Security. Through proven systems and software engineering practices, built on the invention and application of innovative technologies, we deliver the C2 infrastructure necessary to effectively control security/military forces in any environment.

This is a Hybrid role, relocation will not be provided. Onsite work will be required when performing classified work and you will work regularly both onsite and offsite.

Selected candidate must live within a commutable distance to our Fulton, MD facility.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor quality systems that comply with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
  • Conduct investigations into quality concerns, contributing to root cause analysis and robust corrective actions.
  • Provide input to quality assurance plans and documentation.
  • Participate in and support continuous improvement activities to increase quality, efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Perform process audits.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables to customers through software qualification testing and/or review of deliverables.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Perform data preparation, analyses, and reporting.

Qualifications you must have:

  • A University Degree (or equivalent practical experience) in a STEM field and at least 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience participating in root cause and corrective action investigations, including evaluation of the effectiveness of the corrective actions.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a group environment.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • ASQ Certification preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a software or organizational process quality engineering role.
  • A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.
  • CMMI Appraisal experience and ATM certification.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.
  • Understanding of software and organizational quality principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA).
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior-level management.
  • Experience in managing competing priorities while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Active Secret-level Security Clearance preferred.
