This is a non-union positionOur Technical Manager Crude Oil Marketing will have a major focus on developing crude Trading and Lease Purchasing business in the Permian region of Texas and New Mexico. Other areas of expertise will include the Oklahoma region.

While in this role, the selected candidate will work closely with our Supply representative, Traders, and scheduler team to increase the economic value of Tidal-US assets. What you will do:
- Develop a profitable Trading and Lease Purchasing business in the Permian basin.
- Negotiate contracts for profitable purchase of crude oil.
- Negotiate transportation agreements for subject crude oil.
- Review public information and subscription reports to determine crude oil exploration and production activities in the area of interest.
- Stay current of competitor activities and advise other Tidal-US representatives accordingly to power new opportunities.
- Evaluate and recommend steps to improve profitability such as trucking, railcar and gathering. Participate in evaluating new project development such as pipelines, rail loading/unloading, terminals and tank storage.
- Aggressively create markets and build strong customer relationships for advancing business strategies
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with credit, risk, contracts, and accounting teams to ensure thorough understanding of the Tidal-US business strategies and accurate execution of deals.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to these same team members to ensure a clear understanding of how this business integrates with the overall Tidal-US business plan.
- Work with Sr. Commercial Advisor on Regional Accrual.
- Strategize and coordinate inventory (physical and financial) position with schedulers and financial trader to enhance the financial impact of this business
- Maintains an in-depth technical specialist level awareness of the North American crude oil arbitrage opportunities
- Deep understanding of technical logistical processes and procedures as it pertains to leveraging and extracting value from supply, scheduling and trading functions.
- Ensure compliance with all credit, contract, and risk policy guidelines.
Who you are:
You have:
- 10-15 years of industry experience with 10 years of Lease Supply experience in the Permian with a Business or Science related degree from a recognized institution
- A solid understanding of the North American pipeline systems

- Communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Show strong digital literacy and analytical skills

- Very reliable with validated organizational skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter with high degree of personal drive, initiative, and ambitious nature
