We are currently seeking a Principal Product Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our technical products. You'll bridge the gap between engineering and business, ensuring our solutions are not only market-fit but technically sound and scalable.
Key Responsibility
Product Strategy: Develop and maintain a product vision and strategy that aligns with the data platform strategy, focused on both user needs and technical excellence.
Roadmap Development: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritize capabilities based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer feedback.
Hands On: Build end-to-end demos of personas for developers, end users and support to drive adoptions.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to the engineering team, ensuring architecture alignment and design meet product goals while being scalable and maintainable.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Influence and drives engagement with cross-functional internal partner
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager with at least 3+ years of domain experience in Data Analytics platforms.
- A healthy blend of technical depth and deep domain expertise with a customer-focused mindset.
- Working experience with cloud technology, Dremio and/or HDFS/Spark.
- Working experience with streaming architecture, kafka, solace.. and etc.
- Demonstrated passion and experience in one or more of the following technologies: Compute (Spark, Databricks), Orchestration (Airflow and ADF), and Lakehouse.
- Excellent communication skills; timely communication with clear expectations.
- Deep understanding of Software Development, System Architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with at least one programming language and familiar with software design patterns (Java/Python/etc..)
- Knowledge of lean, agile or scrum methodologies
Plans, manages, and leads the delivery of detailed system requirements and technical / functional specifications in alignment with standards and frameworks. Provides technical leadership and works in close partnership with business partners / technology / project teams and stakeholders to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage detailed functional specifications.
Depth & Scope:
- Expert knowledge of system analysis process and techniques
- Expert knowledge of systems and applications supported by the team including system components, functionality, interfaces, data flows, and business rules
