Key Accountabilities:
- Automate Infrastructure & Deployment: Design and implement automated infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Build and maintain automation workflows that incorporate compliance requirements, ensuring that all systems meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Secure CI/CD Pipelines: Configure and secure CI/CD pipelines that ensure code quality, testing, and security compliance, from development through to production.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leverage IaC practices to manage infrastructure changes, track configurations, and ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers.
- Monitoring & Logging: Implement automated monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure real-time compliance and security monitoring of critical systems.
- Collaboration with Compliance & Security Teams: Work closely with compliance and security teams to ensure that all automated processes adhere to regulatory and security standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain detailed documentation of all automation processes and configurations, and support audit processes by providing necessary logs and reports.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize infrastructure and deployment processes for efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring they meet compliance requirements.
- Create technical and user documentation to enable knowledge sharing among the team as well as the user community.
- Provide consultation and ongoing support to enable user adoption and realize business value.
- Execute development activities using a fast and iterative Agile/DevOps approach.
- Follow IT and Change Management processes, adhering to policies, procedures, control standards and best practices for successful completion of implementations using applicable tools, such as ServiceNow.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and security testing tools (e.g., Veracode, Snyk, Aqua, SonarQube).
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and technologies, particularly in Azure and GCP.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on DevOps and cloud security.
- Experience in a financial services environment is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, AWS/Azure Security Specialty, or similar are highly desirable.
