Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Lien Negotiator, you will be responsible for negotiating the successful reduction of bills with medical providers.

  • Independently negotiate medical liens with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to secure optimal resolutions for our clients.
  • Review and analyze medical billing and lien documentation to identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities for negotiation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to strategize and support case-specific lien negotiation tactics.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all lien negotiation activities and communications.. Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Lien Negotiator within a legal setting. Strong understanding of medical billing, lien resolution, and negotiation techniques. Well-versed in statutory liens (Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, etc.) Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work independently while also taking direction when needed. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred
  • Proven experience as a Medical Lien Negotiator within a legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing, lien resolution, and negotiation techniques.
  • Well-versed in statutory liens (Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, etc.)
