As a Business Architect within PNC’s Technology organization, the preferred candidate will reside and work in one of our Technology hub locations: Pittsburgh, PA; Strongsville, PA or Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL or Phoenix, AZ, Responsibilities require time in the office with the opportunity for remote work at the manager’s discretion.

• ServiceNow Architects are hands on designing business architecture, delivering technical roadmaps, application blueprints, data models and system overlays for business processes, decomposing business requirements against technical standards, current technical gaps and possible application modules needed, conducting risk assessments, governance processes and issue resolution in business architecture.
• We expect our architects to have deep knowledge in ServiceNow applications, out-of-the-box configurations, business rules, and data tables, impacts of plugin and store app installations, and technical leadership for integration, testing, and operations of their assigned platform workstream (e.g. ITOM, SACM, CSDM, Employee Experience, etc.).

Job Description

  • Designs business architecture through conducting needs analysis, routine problems resolution and outcomes estimation, in accordance with standards and processes.
  • Delivers technical roadmaps on business processes, application blueprints, data models and system over layers to support business objectives, standards and processes.
  • Analyzes business requirements, current technical gaps and possible applications needed to support business strategies and expectations.
  • Plays a key role in conducting risk assessments, quality assurance processes and routine issue resolution in business architecture.
  • Estimates on the effectiveness of business architecture outcomes; communicates about client feedback to technology teams in order to improve deliverables and meet business requirements.
