Responsibilities:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a detailed, meticulous set of records for business transactions.
• Verifying, allocating, and posting transaction details to subsidiary accounts from various documents such as sales slips, invoices, and receipts.
• Summarizing details in separate ledgers or computer files and transferring data to the general ledger.
• Reconciling and balancing accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Compiling records to show key statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other pertinent business metrics.
• Calculating associate wages from time cards and submitting payroll registers for payment, including following up and resolving payroll issues as necessary.
• Preparing tax reports and computing, typing, and mailing monthly statements to customers.
• Completing records up to or through trial balances.
• Performing other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the business unit.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related finance role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain magnificent records.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• The ability to efficiently implement and lead multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong familiarity with accounting software and technological proficiency.
• A dedication to upholding confidentiality and integrity in financial operations.
