The Manned Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (AISR) Capability Lead will be the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Program Executive Office-Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (PEO-C4) AISR Transport project manager and technical expert for manned systems as they pertain to Line of Sight (LoS) and Beyond Line of Sight (BLoS) sensor data transport. The Lead will serve in an enterprise-level advisory and assistance capacity ensuring cross-functional awareness of SOF-wide manned AISR asset requirements, initiatives, and activities affecting the execution/implementation/operation of USSOCOM’s AISR Data Transport Infrastructure.
Requirements
- The qualified candidate will possess significant subject matter expertise on the enterprise architecture, baseline strategies, and operational requirements for manned AISR assets supporting SOF operations, and on a non-interference basis, other supported customers.
- Integration and Engineering experience.
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Possess an active DoD issued TS/SCI security clearance. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of recent, specialized experience, or;
- An Associate's degree from an accredited college or university, plus 7 years of recent, specialized experience, or;
- A major certification plus 7 years of recent, specialized experience, or:
- 11 years of recent, specialized experience.
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Primary OPR for new asset support, asset movement and inter-Predator Receive Terminal (PRT)/SATCOM Remote Video Terminal (SRVT) transition, and implements, coordinates, and/or tasks black and red-side configurations/modifications to support manned AISR assets.
- Coordinates System Integration Lab (SIL) access for controlled testing and pre-deployment analysis of proposed AISR data transport infrastructure enterprise baselines and configurations, evolutionary technology insertion, new asset and sensor technologies, and sanctioned proofs of concept and pilot tests for manned AISR assets.
- Assists in reviewing documentation/taskers, attendance at HQs level councils, boards, working groups, and integrated product teams, and the production of briefings, papers, and other tasked deliverables to ensure requirements definition and solution delivery, support resource identification and execution, and assists in overall ove
