Shift: 1st shift 5:48am-4:18pm Monday- Thursday+ overtime

What you will do: 

• Builds Self-Contained HVAC units by assembling various complex component parts 
• Required to perform a variety of assembly operations, moving within the area to meet production needs, performing tasks including buildup, electrical assembly, brazing, interior/exterior component fit-up, and final assembly 
• Uses a computer for assembly drawings   
• Performs a quality check on the unit before it leaves the assembly station   
• Performs 5S procedures  
• Takes part in the training process for all new team members   
• Provides input regarding the performance of new team members 
• Participates with other team members on safety, process and quality improvement teams.  
• Works with team members, supervisors and support areas to coordinate workflow to meet production requirements   
• Performs other duties as assigned 
• Must have the ability to work well in a team environment and make sound decisions regarding workflow 
• Must be able to read blueprints, be familiar with order acknowledgement, and understand bill of materials 
• Must have experience with the use of power and hand tools, electrical assembly, and brazing 
• A minimum of one year of related assembly and brazing experience is preferred

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Ability to operate hand tools 
• Ability to read and understand written English 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or GED 
• Previous manufacturing experience
