About the Role
Senior Plant Finance Manager
The Senior Plant Finance Manager has a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial activities of the plant, including budgeting, financial reporting, cost accounting, and compliance with relevant laws and standards. The person in this position will work closely with the Corporate Finance Team and with plant management and other departments to ensure the financial integrity and optimization of the plant's operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust financial processes and systems to support plant operations
- Manage the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Collaborate with plant management to optimize operations and maintain financial integrity
- Direct the annual budgeting process and provide precise forecasting to guide strategic decision-making and resource allocation
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and implement cost control measures to optimize plant operations and improve profitability
