- Vital Signs Monitoring: Regularly measure and record residents' vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration rate. Report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Emotional Support: Develop and maintain a positive and compassionate rapport with residents. Provide emotional support and companionship, actively engaging in conversation, listening attentively, and demonstrating empathy.
- Daily Activities and Recreation: Plan and assist with recreational activities, exercise programs, and social events to promote residents' physical and mental well-being. Encourage participation and facilitate a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Safety and Comfort: Ensure the safety and comfort of residents by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment. Assist in maintaining a high standard of hygiene and infection control practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of residents' care, observations, and any significant changes in their condition. Report concerns, incidents, and changes in residents' behavior or health to the nursing staff promptly.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the healthcare team, including nurses, doctors, therapists, and other staff members, to provide comprehensive care to residents. Communicate effectively and share pertinent information to ensure continuity of care.
