The Role

The Cybersecurity Asset Management Engineer is responsible for managing the security posture of all IT assets throughout their lifecycle. This role entails ensuring that all assets, including hardware, software, and network components, adhere to company security policies and standards. The analyst will utilize tools like ServiceNOW, Axonius, and CrowdStrike to monitor, analyze, and optimize asset management processes, contributing to the overall cybersecurity strategy.

Location

This is a remote position open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S.

The Main Responsibilities

• Conduct regular assessments of IT assets to identify vulnerabilities and compliance issues
• Integrate asset management tools for comprehensive monitoring
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures
• Maintain accurate asset inventories
• Provide reports and insights to stakeholders
• Develop policies and procedures to enhance asset security throughout its lifecycle
• Respond to security incidents linked to IT assets and work towards their resolution

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with end point protection controls
• Experience with asset management and cybersecurity asset management tools like ServiceNOW and Axonius
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in managing IT asset lifecycle
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

 

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
