Part-Time Returns Assistant

The Returns Assistant will be responsible for processing all customer returns.

The Warehouse hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-6:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am-4:00pm. This position is considered non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay for hours worked outside of 40 per week.

Responsibilities:

• Receive shipments delivered by carriers on a daily basis
• Open boxes and inspect garments
• Process paperwork, checking in styles received, and noting tracking information
• Prepare paperwork for nightly scanning to STO AR team for Wholesale
• Notate and process items to be returned via internal customer portal for E-Commerce returns
• Collate return garments and process thru WMS and distribute to proper department
• Work with the corporate office on various return request from clients

Desired Background:

• Minimum High School diploma (or equivalent)
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Experience in fashion industry a plus

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience in the garment industry
• Warehouse work experience preferred

Skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Must be self-motivated and proactive
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be flexible (hours outside of normal working hours) and able to act independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Physical functions:

• Must be able to push and pull rolling racks with weights up to 200 pounds
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Frequent bending, pushing, pulling and lifting, twisting and reaching
• Ability to hold and grip garments
• Ascending/descending from a rolling ladder to hang/remove garments
• Able to stand and walk about the warehouse throughout scheduled shifts
• Scanning of up to 250-300 pieces per day using hand-held scanner

Base Hourly Pay Range:

The base hourly pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, and location.
