Roles and Responsibilities

• Review, match, and voucher all vendor invoices with appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Resolve invoice variances to ensure all invoices and purchase orders are properly accounted.
• Respond to all vendor inquiries in a timely fashion.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other departments including to ensure that all matters are handled timely and adhere to procedures.
• Assist the month end close process.
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have basic accounting skills, accounts payable experience, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
