Job Description

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees  and products to confirm production specifications are met. 
• Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees.  Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management
• Review and approve production samples, and/or shipments as necessary
• Identify and report opportunities for continual improvement
• Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood.
• Ensure the “Quality Policy and Objectives” are understood and achieved

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
• Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments
• Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 pounds
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
• Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail required to resolve issues

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $17.50 - $24.00/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential.
