Position Summary

The SVP, Finance plays an important role in the organization by overseeing a number of activities related to the company’s Finance functions. The role is primarily responsible, for the day-to-day planning and managing finance-related activities of the company. This will include oversight of the following areas: Treasury, Financial Analysis and Accounting. This role will create, maintain and ensure all financial controls are in place, financial reports are accurate, timely and well-presented and will provide financial insight and support to operational management.

Compensation

This role is an exempt position with a targeted salary range of $198,455.00 - $297,683.00 annually.

Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership for management over Treasury, Financial Analysis and Accounting; as well as, goal setting, training, coaching, guidance and recognition to team members.
  • Oversee and develop strategies for success for Treasury function, Financial Analysis function and Accounting function.
  • Provide executive management with advice on financial implications of business activities.
  • Oversee all aspects of Finance, Accounting and Treasury functions of the organization.
  • Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Identify key growth areas as it relates to all financial operations.
  • Produce periodic financial reports and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team so as to identity their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
  • Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
  • Develop policies, practices, and protocols in order to support national and regional initiatives.
  • Oversees financial performance/metrics to maximize productivity, efficiency, service and compliance levels.
  • Implement systems that focus on the delivering of a high-level of customer service, support consistent turn-times, decrease errors, increase compliance, and adhere to metrics in finance operations.
  • Direct other company-wide initiatives as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related required. Masters Degree directly related to the position or equivalent, preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience total experience in Finance related role(s).

  • Minimum five years supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the professional demeanor necessary to interface with and influence senior-level executives.
  • Ability to solve complex problems involving multiple variables and stakeholders in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Experience in partnering with an Executive team.
  • Significant relationship building experience and a capacity to build and maintain professional alliances.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented; ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment required.
  • Ability to understand technical material from regulatory agencies, banks, and other third-parties.
  • Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service within a team environment.
  • Ability to effectively represent the company to outside parties, including investors and banks.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills required.
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
