Senior Reforecasting Analyst to Lowell NordicsWe are looking for a Senior Reforecasting Analyst to join our Nordic Reforecasting team in Norway or in Sweden. You have data analytics and cashflow forecasting experience and are naturally inquisitive, with a desire to get into the detail and present comprehensive analysis.

Job description
You will be responsible for building, monitoring and maintaining the active gross and cost cashflow forecasts for our Debt Purchase portfolios, in order to support the robust on-going valuation of the company’s considerable asset base.
Partnering with key stakeholders across the business (including Portfolio Analytics, Operations and Pricing), you will build a thorough understanding of portfolio performance to date, in order to complete robust portfolio evaluations and cashflow curve reforecasting.
This means you will have strong business acumen and commercial awareness, combined with professional experience working within asset valuation, cash flow forecasting and/or portfolio analysis, with the proven ability to translate complex data into high quality and detailed work to drive insight and value.
Armed with a professional curiosity and a naturally analytical mindset, you will take real enjoyment in utilising your skills in a solution orientated, problem solving approach, and in doing so will make a significant contribution to the management of the Group’s sizable Debt Purchase asset base.
Key responsibilities
- Ongoing maintenance and development of BI reports
- Acquiring data from primary and secondary data sources through running, maintaining and developing SQL / SAS / Python / R
- Ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency of data in our collection platform databases
- Interpreting data and analysing results using statistical techniques
- Developing and implementing improvements that drive excellence in the functionality and data structure of our collection platform
- Process, design and present data in the form of management reports and dashboards to help the business make better business decisions
- Respond to ad hoc data requests, analyse report results to ensure their accuracy and draw out business insights
- Responsible for support and regular communication with key stakeholders
Other key experiences
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role using SQL / Python / R and Azure Platform
- A bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or a related field of study
- Previous experience in a finance, collections, or payments supporting data analytics role is a plus
- Experience in building reports and dashboards with Power BI an advantage
- Proficient in the use of Excel, e.g. use of Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
- Knowledge of finance systems and reconciliation processes and preferably also debt collection practices and processes
- Solid organisational skills, ability to prioritise and multi-task in a demanding environment
- Able to optimise and improve automation of data processes
- Fluent in English
