As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll often be the first and last person our clients interact with during their visit. You’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming experience, keeping the hospital organized, and helping our medical team provide efficient, thoughtful care.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do

  • Welcome clients and patients with warmth, professionalism, and compassion
  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients with questions and scheduling needs
  • Schedule and confirm appointments while helping maintain an efficient hospital workflow
  • Check clients and patients in and out
  • Process payments and review invoices with clients
  • Maintain accurate client and patient information
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding appointments, hospital services, and next steps
  • Anticipate the needs of the veterinary team and help promote efficiency throughout the hospital
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and fellow receptionists
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Support clients during both routine visits and emotionally difficult situations
  • Jump in and assist teammates wherever needed
