The Project Manager – Pharmacy is a newly created role responsible for leading and supporting high-impact, enterprise-wide pharmacy initiatives. This position partners closely with program leadership to manage 1–5 concurrent projects, including major efforts such as Unified Operations campus alignment, 340B rebate model optimization, and home medications policy rollout. Responsibilities include overseeing the full project lifecycle from initiation through execution and completion, coordinating stakeholder meetings, tracking milestones and risks, and ensuring alignment across teams. The role also develops reporting tools, dashboards, and executive presentations while identifying and implementing process improvements. With strong leadership support and broad organizational visibility, this position offers the opportunity to influence patient access, cost optimization, and operational efficiency while building both strategic and hands-on project management expertise.

A caregiver in this role will work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with no weekends, holidays or float requirements.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. 
  • Prepare and complete action plans. 
  • Implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards. 
  • Resolve problems. 
  • Complete audits and identify trends. 
  • Determine system improvements and implement changes. 
  • Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements. 
  • Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures. 
  • Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions. 
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. 
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. 
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and three years of project experience in an assigned area (i.e., progressively responsible experience supporting a clinical system and/or data and financial analysis)  
  • OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience  
  • OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience 
  • Effective relationship building skills 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Pharmacy Experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Must have own transportation to travel to multiple sites.
