Job Description

The Production Planning position focuses on leveraging resources, planning and communicating with customers and within the Engines team. 

  • Gathering real-time data and communicate production progress or issues to program Leaders and customers, as appropriate.  
  • Forecasting workflow and estimated completion dates and communicating with Leaders. 
  • Coordinating material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials.
  • Researching, evaluating, and recommending changes to production processes, systems, technology, or equipment to enhance organization's production capabilities.
  • Leverages customer communications and resolution skills to support a high-level of customer service. 
  • Acts as an informal leader/influencer of others by explaining facts, statistics, and real-time information. 

Areas of Focus:

  • Managing customer own material inventory
  • Managing Preservation program
  • Administrative tasks:
    • Generating and maintaining sales orders
    • Invoicing/ maintain ERP with accurate customer expectations.
    • Gathering information and generating reports

Qualifications

  • Technical background in the Aerospace industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
  • Customer Service experience (preferred)

Proficiency in manufacturing data systems, data analysis and associated financials.

Pay Range: $68,400 - $102,600 / year. This role is salaried-exempt.
