Summary
Come join our team in Irvine, a uniquely collaborative, multi-discipline engineering community as a System Architect creating cutting edge products for global markets and large-scale tier one customers. You will possess an excellent understanding of Cellular and Connectivity Systems (3GPP/NR/LTE-A/WCDMA/GSM/EDGE/WiFi/GPS/ V2X), be a driven & committed team player, and have excellent communication skills.
You will join a team of Systems Architects responsible for driving our long-term architectural roadmap by setting device specifications, validation requirements, and driving our customers towards our vision of the future while also taking their feedback into account when shaping our strategy. This position also gives a unique chance to work on many state of the art Wireless Technologies collaborating with industry respected technical experts with a uniquely large impact on the success of the company.
The responsibilities extend beyond product and architecture definition and the RF System Architect is one of the key members of the module design team working hand in hand with other members such as IC, PA, Filter, EM designers. The position’s core focus will be to drive our understanding of emerging requirements both in the standards and from customers, then help the design team to formulate and specify optimal target solutions in architecture/design/control in order to address cost/performance/size trade-offs.
You will guide the design team for the entire product design cycle actively participating in design reviews scrutinizing implementation of critical features, performance achieved and serve as a key technical expert for testing, troubleshooting. #LI-DB1
