In this role, you will deliver on all program deliverables within contract terms and the business case while upholding Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) as the north star.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transition plan for in-scope processes from Vandalia and partner sites to Pune, including due diligence, knowledge transfer, shadowing/reverse shadowing, and controlled cutover to steady state
- Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Services, Quality, EHS, IT/Cyber, HR, Finance, Legal/Compliance, Facilities, and Pune site leadership to ensure readiness and on-time execution
- Safety: Complete EHS risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and access controls prior to each cutover; enforce standard work and safe systems of work; achieve zero recordables during transition activities
- Quality: Stand up SOPs/WIs, control plans, error-proofing, and layered process audits; measure first-pass yield, defects per unit, and escape tracking; drive corrective and preventive actions with root cause rigor
- Delivery: Build capacity and load leveling plans; align SLAs/TATs and backlog burn-down; implement tiered daily management in Pune with visual controls, recovery plans, and on-time milestone delivery
- Cost: Deliver transition to budget; quantify and realize productivity via waste elimination, automation, and optimized spans of control; manage vendor/contractor costs and travel-to-plan
- Serve as the primary interface between customer(s), Vandalia stakeholders, and the Pune operation; ensure transparent communication and timely issue resolution
- Negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to protect SQDC and contract performance; ensure adherence to commercial policy, contract terms, and performance specifications
- Define Pune operating model, org structure, RACI, and staffing plans; hire, onboard, and certify talent against process requirements
- Lead knowledge capture and transfer; implement training curricula, skill certification, and leader standard work; coach continuous improvement behaviors
- Drive change management with clear stakeholder communications, playbooks, and feedback loops
- Partner with IT/Cyber to enable secure systems, access provisioning, and incident/change management; always uphold export control and data privacy requirements
- Monitor and improve system performance, workflow orchestration, and automation to sustain SQDC
- Apply strong judgment to complex, cross-functional problems; synthesize inputs from multiple internal and external sources to inform decisions
- Interpret industry trends and internal signals to recommend best practices that improve products, processes, or services
- Lead cross-functional teams and project workstreams with disciplined execution; communicate difficult concepts clearly and influence decision-making
- Guide teams to consider alternative approaches; escalate risks early with data-driven countermeasures
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 9 years of experience in Product/Program/Project Management)
- Minimum 5 years of Product/Program/Project Management experience

- Primary location: Vandalia, OH, partnering closely with Pune, India
- Travel: 25% domestic/international to support readiness, cutovers, and stabilization
