We are seeking a Civil Project Manager position based in our Poznan office to join the Civil team. The job location is Rockwool Global Business Services, Poznan Group Technology hub with project assignments being all around Europe. The role will require extensive travel depending on the project locations and phase.

Your future team:  

You will join a core team of project managers and mechanical engineers in civil section business unit. The team represents great diversity in nationalities, location, gender, and age. In addition to your colleagues in your competence area, you will be part of experienced project group in your day-to-day work.

What you will be doing: 

  • Leading and execute design and construction management activities
  • Responsible for all construction project scope related quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks
  • Lead civil design consultant and all design related activities including permits in coordination with factory and process teams
  • Responsible for efficient cooperation in the core teams
  • Prepare design specifications and tender documents
  • Managing main and sub-contractors’ claims
  • Preparing and follow-up civil time schedule in accordance with overall project time schedule
  • Implementation of health & safety set-up and daily application through Site Safety Supervisor
  • Ensuring that Site Safety Supervisor has the required mandate to take needed actions to ensure safety
  • Coordination with Factory organization design and site activities
  • Responsible for efficient budget follow-up in relation to design and construction activities
  • Clear communication to core team and stakeholders
  • No restriction to travel, extensive travel activity should be expected
  • Be proactive in all the responsibilities described above

What you bring:  

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree within civil or mechanical engineering
  • Master’s degree in civil engineering and/or project management is preferred.
  • At least 10 year of work experience
  • Strong project management record in large scale projects (5+ years’ experience)
  • Working experience with multinational teams and contractors
  • Industrial project experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Prince 2 is an asset.
  • Written and spoken English Language to a high professional business level is a must, additional knowledge in Danish is preferred.
  • Driver license
