Millennium Physicians is seeking a Medical Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our fast-paced, patient-centered practice in Naples, Florida.

This is a busy office that includes walk-in patients, so we're looking for someone who's confident, adaptable, and ready to jump in wherever needed. Experience in Primary Care is strongly preferred.

🩺 What You'll Do:

• Assist with chart prep and medical record abstraction

• Triage patients and support clinical staff with overflow duties

• Act as a flexible team member, helping at the front desk when needed

• Collect vitals, perform EKGs, administer injections, and document in the electronic health record (EHR)

• Support physicians, ARNPs, and PAs in delivering high-quality care

• Primary Care experience preferred

• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-moving setting

• Bilingual candidates are a plus

Millennium will provide you with ample training. This training will include both classroom setting training and in office shadowing. We will introduce and walk you through our Electronic Health Records systems, referral processes, our Patient Portal, and everything you will need to know to be a successful team member!

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Completed a Medical Assisting Program/Completion of Certification or Registration
• Minimum 1 year experience as Medical Assistant required
• Bilingual will be a plus
• CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to type at minimum 40 WPM
• All certification received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current

Required Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR systems; Athena knowledge preferred but not required. Teamplayer and willingness to jump in to assist where needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb and balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
