Job Description

As an experienced and visionary leader you will play a pivotal role in driving the development, implementation, and enhancement of our cutting-edge software solutions that enable businesses to keep their applications secure , monitor and optimize their digital user experiences. You will lead a talented team of software engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and leverage your technical expertise to shape the direction of our   offerings. 

What you'll be doing...

• Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on execution, quality, and speed
• Evangelize the product vision internally and externally. Be able to represent the company, product, and team at all levels
• Drive the design, architecture, and technical decisions to enhance scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of the platform.
• Work closely with the product management organization to develop and deliver on roadmaps
• Work closely with customer success to improve outcomes
• Collaborate with senior management to establish clear objectives, KPIs and success metrics for the team.
• Recognize process and product gaps early and able to drive changes to achieve better outcomes
• Keep the product quality bar high, prioritize Service stability features
• Strong executive presence and ability to excel ideas and initiatives
• Be a strong mentor and coach to the team
• Nurture innovation in the organization
• Regularly present project updates and plans to the exec  and cross functional teams 
• Partner with  other Leads, Architects, Product and Program Managers  to build roadmaps and help in prioritization of tasks. 
• Translate business objectives into actionable engineering plans.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, engineering/technical degree.
• 10+ years of experience in highly technical roles in development or enterprise services at large organizations or innovative startups.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing  global cross functional diverse teams
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying cloud solutions.
• Strong domain expertise in virtualization, networking, and security
• Experience with high performance network and security platforms.
• Strong customer orientation, driven to deliver quality experiences to stakeholders and customers.
• Very Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, DNS, IPv6,VPN/GRE/IPsec/VxLAN etc.
• Knowledge of Agile cloud lifecycle deployment and CI/CD automation frameworks
• Strong GTM and business analysis skills.
• Demonstrated track record of success.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $190,000 to $230,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
