We are hiring a Security Director to work at a commercial office building in Rosemont .  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Security Directors include but are not limited to:

• Supervise the day to day operations of an assigned Client site, including working as a security officer if needed• Manage a team of security officers, including participating in hiring, scheduling, payroll, training and development, coaching and discipline, and support.• Ensure client and employee satisfaction through building effective relationships and proactive communications and management • Complete operational procedures, including reviewing logs, shift responsibilities, patrol round information, and reporting, and update as needed• Handle escalated security issues or emergencies • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications of Security Director:• Must be at least 21 years of age.• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)• 2 years’ experience supervising a security team in a similar environment or directly related position • Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements.• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

 

Preferred Qualifications of Security Director:• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
