Description of Task to be Performed:AnaVation is seeking a reliable and task-oriented individual who will directly support Business and Operations functionsfor our Army customer. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented, professional, andcapable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks.
Responsibilities include:· Coordinate, plan, edit, write, and proof Senior Leader correspondence to include Weekly Activities Reports (WARs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Army Awards, Senior Leaders emails, Memorandums, and other communications suited for internal personnel and external customers.· Research, assemble, write, and disseminate sensitive, critical, and often complex information for both internal and external needs, on a wide variety of topics in support of the customer mission. Writings may include talking points, communications plans, scripts and other narrative material for various venues.· Conduct interviews of individuals and attend events to collect information for articles to further the customer’s communication efforts. Consider overall policies, mission, vision and strategic goals of the customer in deciding what information to present.· Edit draft and finalized documents through application of substantial knowledge and understanding of editing and writing standards, procedures, formats and terminology. Review narrative presentation, tables, graphs, drawings, appendices, and other illustrative material. Edit for conformance to customer requirements and Army Regulations. Review material for proper grammatical usage, punctuation, format, spelling, style, and order of presentation. · Rewrite sentences within paragraphs to improve clarity of meaning and consistency. Check references to other publications for accuracy of titles, numbers, dates, and applicability of subject matter. Coordinate changes or extraordinary situations regarding format, content, grammatical usage, etc., with the customer. Attend in-process reviews. · Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- Interim Secret Security Clearance
- A high level of expertise in writing and editing
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Army regulations and policies on preparing and managing correspondence, award documents for civilian and military personnel
- Knowledge of Army writing concepts, practices, and standards
- Broad knowledge of government editing and writing procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of a variety of formats, standards, writing, and editing terminology
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and be self-started
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fully adjudicated Secret Security Clearance
- BA/BS in a business-related field
- Previous experience supporting Government executives
