Description
Join our team as the Sr. Inventory and Logistics Specialist! This multi-faceted role is responsible for receiving incoming shipments, domestic & international shipping and associated documentation. Supports internal material requests, cycle counts and reconciliation, and physical inventory coordination.
Please note – this is an on-site position. Relocation assistance is not available.
Summary of what you will do:
- Receive and process incoming materials and inventory.
- Coordinating the processing of material through incoming QA. Properly inventory and store materials that pass inspection.
- Kit pulling and related transactions.
- Cycle counting and reconciliation of variances.
- Shipment preparation and processing for both domestic and international shipments including generating all necessary documentation.
- Responsible for maintaining packaging and shipping materials inventory for all customer and other outgoing shipping needs.
- Coordinate local courier pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to approved standard operating and manufacturing procedures.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Minimum of a High school degree or equivalent.
- Experience in the medical device field is required.
- Experience in shipping/receiving and/or in a warehouse environment required.
- Prior NetSuite experience required; NetSuite implementation experience a strong plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Familiarity with MRP systems.
- Familiarity with Fed Ex, UPS, DHL, and other carrier types.
- Familiar with import / export rules and documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally, introducing new processes and managing changes. Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions.
- Ability to utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions and weight for shipping and inventory tracking.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.
- Ability to work independently or under little supervision.
Salary Range:
$36 – $46 per hour
Base pay is one part of your total compensation. The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
