We are looking for a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, MarTech to join our IT Business Intelligence (BI) team in North America. This is a remote position with a preference for candidates based in the Eastern time zone, but open to all USA, Mountain, Central and Pacific time zones.


What you will do:

  • Take complete ownership of Oura’s Customer Data Platform (CDP), including administration, governance and configuration.
  • Drive alignment by coordinating with various departments to understand data requirements, manage cross-functional data projects, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Understand the business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the development, configuration, and modification of the CDP.
  • Coordinate and align source and destination owners to harmonize, standardize and rationalize data flowing in and out of the platform.
  • Guide the architecture surrounding the CDP in a way that aligns with best practices and balances the need for both data quality and speed of use case execution.
  • Create and maintain essential documentation that clearly defines requirements, data ownership, architecture and security/privacy.
  • Protect the privacy and security of Ōura’s members by creating processes for ensuring data is handled appropriately within and beyond the CDP platform.
  • Regularly monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with technical teams or vendors as necessary to resolve problems.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in data analysis, system administration, and CDP technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.

Requirements

We would love to have you on our team if you have any of the following, but don’t worry too much if you don’t meet all the requirements:

  • Strong ability to translate requirements into specifications and configuration of the CDP platform, its sources and destinations.
  • Strong (8+ years) or equivalent experience with Twilio Segment, marketing technologies and ad platforms.
  • Strong (8+ years) understanding of CDP strategy, design, architecture and implementation.
  • Strong ability to understand and communicate use case value and coordinate business and technical requirements with coworkers in various departments such as Engineering, Marketing, Product, IT, Security and Legal.
  • Experience with data protection, privacy regulations and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with the technical foundations of event tracking, web/application development, data integration and data & analytics patterns (e.g. data lake/warehouse, BI platforms).

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates’ pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Region 1 $150,000 - $160,000

Region 2 $142,000 - $152,000

Region 3 $135,000 - $145,000
