Financial Controller

Truora is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all financial aspects of the company. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, drive financial planning and analysis, and support strategic decision-making processes.

Responsabilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes, working closely with department heads to develop comprehensive financial forecasts and budgets aligned with business objectives.


• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze timely and accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial performance metrics. Present financial information to senior management and the board of directors.


• Strategic Financial Management: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that drive the company's growth, profitability, and long-term financial sustainability.


• Cost Management: Identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and process improvements to ensure effective resource allocation.


• Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks, developing strategies to mitigate potential financial exposures and ensure compliance with financial regulations.


• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards, and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.


• Financial Strategy Communication: Effectively communicate financial insights and trends to non-financial stakeholders, assisting them in understanding the financial implications of business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role, with a strong track record in financial management and analysis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
