About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Manager for Crunchyroll’s Data Transformation team. This role is key in defining data taxonomy, best practices, and workflows. You’ll report to the Director of Data Transformation and be responsible for ensuring accurate, consistent, and high-quality data across the digital supply chain, supporting the launches and operations of ALC Channels.

Responsibilities:

• You will define Taxonomy and Best Practices: You’ll create and maintain consistent data taxonomy, developing workflows and best practices for data management.
• You will ensure Data Quality Assurance: You'll oversee data profiling, cleansing, and validation, and monitor data quality standards.
• You will manage Title Registration and Rights Management: You’ll handle title hierarchies and data tagging in Rightsline, tracking and documenting data flow.
• You will assist in Data Governance: You’ll help create policies and standards that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• You will oversee Data Security and Privacy: You’ll work with IT to secure data, implement access controls, and conduct security audits.
• You will collaborate and support: You’ll work closely with the Channel Support Manager and other teams to resolve data issues and ensure seamless integration.
• You will lead Training and Development: You’ll train staff on data governance and promote data literacy across the organization.

This role is critical to maintaining data integrity and supporting the successful launch of ALC Channels.

About You

• 8+ years of increasingly responsible professional data governance experience.
• You have strong knowledge of data governance principles and best practices, and related systems (Looker, PowerBI, SQL Server, Tableau, etc.)
• You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• You have effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• You work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Bachelor in Science, Information Science, or a related field, or comparable experience.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
