HR Business Partner (Labor Relations)

People & Organization (PO) focuses on our employees, Webasto's most valuable asset. PO encompasses a wide range of tasks, including recruitment and development, as well as compensation, labor law, organizational development, and change management. The function plays a crucial role in fostering a harmonious work environment and promoting the growth and retention of employees within the company.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks:

• Act as a strategic advisor to site leadership, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives while promoting a positive and collaborative labor environment
• Guide and coach managers through labor relations matters, including contract interpretation, grievance resolution, and day-to-day union interactions
• Monitor and analyze workforce data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and proactively address labor-related challenges
• Partner with leadership to deliver training and development programs that enhance leadership capability and reinforce contract compliance and fair employment practices
• Serve as a key liaison during contract negotiations and labor-management meetings, ensuring consistent application of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws

This is what you bring to us:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a unionized manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of employment and labor law, with direct experience supporting or leading labor relations initiatives
• Proven ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of an organization, particularly with frontline leadership and union representatives
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; data-driven approach to workforce planning and problem-solving
