Lending Change Administration Senior Specialist

Purpose:
Assist the Vice President of Lending Change Administration with the oversight of Loan Administration’s changes and projects. Assist with the preparation and implementation of changes in policies, guidelines, procedures and training related to loan products, policies, and systems.
Duties:
Provides Project Management for departmental project sponsors and works with vendor project managers to manage resources and activities in support of authorized projects.
Participates in discussions on contracts with vendors for hardware and services.
Leads project teams to clearly define requirements and overall scope of approved projects.
Assists with project management for all Loan Administration projects.
Assists with the development of work stream plans for changes/projects including the creation of a work breakdown structure, task assignments, timelines, phases, dependencies, and critical paths.
Assists the project team to clearly define requirements and overall scope of the project work.
Develops and maintains a project schedule with minimal supervision for work to be completed by project stakeholders and communicates schedule to project team members and appropriate stakeholders.

Schedules and facilitates meetings and records and distributes notes of salient points of the meeting including action items and next steps. Works with other project team members to distribute information as necessary.
Resolves conflicts between the project and other organizational units and between project team members in a satisfactory manner, including engaging management as necessary.
Assists with monitoring risks and elevates risks that could impact the project schedule, as directed.
Acts as liaison with the project team members, stakeholders external to the project team, and vendor resources as directed by the project owner.
Tracks the progress of current project assignments and reports the status to all stakeholders based on a predetermined communication strategy.
As soon as discovered, reports problems with the project to the appropriate stakeholders, including but not limited to resource availability, schedule changes, missed milestones/deliverables, scope creep, quality, etc.
Prepares and presents project status information to the project team and stakeholders.
Provides performance input to functional managers for project team members assigned to projects to assist with employee evaluations. Possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
Participates in the development and documentation of new or revised policies and procedures.
Works with departmental project owner/manager and/or vendor project manager to manage and facilitate resources and activities in support of authorized projects.
Assists the PMO in gathering and archiving project documents for input on future projects.
Mentors junior Lending Change Administration employees to encourage growth and maturity in the project management discipline.
Requirements:
Must have four-year degree of any discipline from an accredited institution; business or finance preferred.

Minimum of 5+ years of lending experience or project management experience or equivalent project management certifications.
Must be proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must complete the Credit Union’s Lending Certification program.
Must be self-motivated and not require daily supervision.
Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to speak English fluently.
Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with co-workers.
